Alexa McAuley

Alexa has more than 15 years’ experience in green infrastructure policy, planning and design. A qualified environmental engineer, Alexa works to create more sustainable, liveable cities by integrating environmental engineering with urban ecology, landscape and urban design. Alexa has substantial experience consulting to local government and has helped many local government clients shift water sensitive urban design from a niche practice to a mainstream activity. Alexa has also delivered a wide range of design projects, including water, active transport, landscape and ecological design projects in parks and streetscapes. Alexa has experience steering complex multi-disciplinary projects through planning, design and approval stages.

David Knights

David is a designer with more than 20 years’  experience in strategic planning, public open space design, green infrastructure design and sustainable urban water management, delivering feasibility and strategic studies, concept design, detailed design and construction documentation.  David works effectively across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated design outcomes.  David has been at the forefront of leading innovative green infrastructure designs including stormwater treatment harvesting and reuse projects, greywater wetlands, green wall and green roof treatment systems. David’s projects have won landscape architecture, engineering and planning industry awards.

Andrew McMillan

Andrew is a civil and environmental engineer with a Masters in environmental management and twelve years experience in water management and urban infrastructure. Andrew has designed GPTs, bioretention systems, wetlands, stormwater harvesting systems, wetland and waterway restoration works, as well as undertaking water quality monitoring and analysis, risk assessment, and catchment analysis and strategic planning. His work spans hard urban areas and streetscapes through to natural environments, and includes masterplans, feasibility assessment, detailed design and construction supervision. Andrew has also volunteered with Engineers Without Borders Australia in India and Nepal, working on water safety planning.
